And the autumn?

Credete che questo post sia sull'autunno? In un certo senso lo è, ma per dire che così come è venuto, così se n'è andato! Saranno stati solo 15-20 giorni, non di più. Adesso il termometro che ho fuori dalla finestra segna la bellezza di soli 2 gradi. Mi sembrava doveroso quantomeno dare un'idea di cosa è qui l'autunno, un periodo bellissimo, giorno dopo giorno gli alberi cambiano colore, lo si nota quasi a vista d'occhio. E il bello è che di colori ce ne sono infiniti, dal giallo al rosso, dal verde al marrone, e se ci mettiamo anche i laghi c'è pure l'azzurro: un arcobaleno! Ho fatto due foto in giro vicino casa mia, tanto per documentare un pò il colore delle foglie, ragazzi, non avevo mai visto un autunno così bello, sul serio. E un autunno, anche se posso dire è stato un autunno perchè è gia inverno, è stato un autunno vero, come quello che ci si immagina quando si leggono i libri ambientati nel lontano nord, o come quello che si vede nei film, con le foglie che cadono per terra portate dal vento, veramente una bella sensazione. Vabbè, per quanto riguada me, ieri sono stato a una polish cena, preparata da alcune amiche polacche, abbiamo assaggiato il pirogi, un pasto tradizionale, buonissimo. Una sorta di ravioli, di forma diversa, ma il concetto è lo stesso, ravioli ripieni con funghi o formaggio, ma sensa alcuna salsa di sopra. Alcune spezie a dire il vero non le ho capite, e non me le hanno volute spiegare: è un segreto, è stata la risposta! Poi sono dovuto ritornare a casa perchè avevo promesso di cucinare io per altri amici, questa volta è toccato a me fare il cuoco: pasta fredda con rucola, sì l'ho trovata!, pomodori e mozzarella e dopo ravioli ricotta e spinaci. Inutile dire che è stato un successo. Per il resto, mi godo questi ultimi giorni di autunno, per la prossima settimana è prevista la prima neve, noi tutti qui gli studenti stranieri non facciamo altro che parlare di questo e di come comportarci o vestirci. Insomma, non sappiamo che cosa ci aspetta!

Do you think this is a post about autumn? In a certain sense, yes, but to say that it has came and already has went away! It should be only few day, 15-20, not more. Now, my personal thermometer on the window indicates only 2 degree. I'd like very much at least give you an idea of what's autumn here, a very nice period, day after day the trees change colour, you can realise it as far as the eye can see. And moreover, there are a lot of colours, never endeds, from yellow to red, from green to brown, and if we count also the lakes, also blue: a rainbow! I tok some pictures near my apartment, just to document the colour of leafs, i had never seen an autumn so beautiful, really. It's an autumn, but i can say it was an autumn because it's already winter, it was a real autumn, like the one we imagine when we red book about the disant north, or like the one we see on the movies, with the leafs falling dawn for the winf, really a wonderfull feeling. Well, as regard me, yesterday i was at a polish dinner maked by some polish friends of mine, we tasted the pirogi, a traditional food, very beautifull. A kind of ravioli, with a different pattern, but the concept is the same, ravioli stuffed with mushrooms and cheese, but without sauce on them. I didn't understand the other spices, i think it was a sort of secret! The I came back at home because I promised to cook for other friends, this time I had the part of the chief cook: cold pasta with rucola, yes, i found it!, tomatos and mozzarella and later raviola ricotta and spinaci. success. And now, I enjoy these last days of autumn, it will snows next week, we all exchange students, at least the latinos, always speak each other about it and about how to dress... Therefore, we don't know what will happen!
